







PRIMARY AND ENRICHMENT CLASSES - AGES 7-15
Ballet I (Ages 7-8)
This is the start of the classical ballet classes, learning the basic ballet positions, standard ballet barre and the french vocabulary. Students must be physically able to hold positions and concentration longer. Prior ballet experience is not required. This 45 minute class works on building the technique and vocabulary necessary to continue in ballet. A 30 minute jazz class follows.
Class Attire:
Girls: Light Blue leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Tutus and skirts are not allowed
Boys: White T-shirt, black tights or sweat pants and black ballet shoes.
Jazz
Jazz is offered as a combination class with Ballet I. Jazz offers freedom of movement and expression but is based on ballet technique.
Class Attire:
Girls and Boys: Regular class attire, black jazz shoes are optional.
Enrichment Classes (Ages 7-15)
After Ballet I students decide whether they want to commit to the Conservatory program or continue dance as a recreation activity. Students in the Enrichment classes will not dance en pointe. Students may start in the Enrichment Classes and then later switch into The Conservatory program at the approval of their teacher.
All Enrichment classes are combination classes of Ballet and Jazz. Combo A is a 75 minute class and Combo B is 90 minutes. Students may opt to add additional classes such as modern or character dance.​
Class Attire:
Combo A: ages 7-13 Rose leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Black jazz shoes optional.
Combo B: ages 13-15: Navy Blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black jazz shoes
